IMDb Rating Plugin lets Publishers Add IMDb Ratings to their Website

The IMDb rating plugin lets website publishers add IMDb review ratings to their website. Officially: “The rating plugin provides an easy way to display the IMDb rating of your favorite movie or TV series on your own website or blog.” Many movies and TV shows that come out  webmasters do not have the opportunity to view and review. That is not the case with some reviewers that post their reviews to IMDb.

IMDb ratings can be adding to any article or widget on your website. The process is easy (simply copy and paste the HTML snippet).

Questions about the plugin and its use:

Does the plugin update as the rating and votes change?

Yes, the plugin automatically updates as more people vote on a particular movie or TV series. Our rates and votes update daily, so your plugin will always be current.

Who can use the rating plugin?

Anyone can use the rating plugin. For example, if you have a personal blog or a commercial website, you can use the provided HTML snippet to display on your site.

After installing the plugin, why do some movie/TV series have no rating?

The plugin will display the IMDb rating for all titles that have a rating. If a movie/TV series has yet to be released, or if the title hasn’t received enough votes, the plugin will only display the IMDb logo without any rating. Once the title has enough votes, the rating will automatically appear. If this occurs please verify the title you are trying to add, actually has a rating.

Do you have other plugins?

We hope in time to add additional plugins providing you new ways to display IMDb data and features on your own website or blog.

Do you provide other ways to access IMDb data?

Yes, IMDb licenses content to a wide selection of businesses including movie studios, cable companies, websites, and more. IMDb licensing content includes: cast & crew, plot summaries, release dates, awards, biographies, and more. If you have questions, please see our licensing page.

Will you give the IMDb ratings plugin a try?
