I like seeing that others are liking and linking to my content. That site, starttags, looks a like sketchy so I might delete those (but I do not know if those pingbacks are negatively affecting your site). Checking the source of the pingback is prudent. Here's a question for you that might have been answered somewhere else on your site already: PIngbacks from other sites, the kind that show up as a exerpt-looking comment on my blog. Should I be deleting these? Spamming them? Should I leave them where they are? I think I read somewhere that if the pingback is from a spammy aggregator site, it could actually lower my page rank by association. I'm starting to get a number of pingbacks from a site called <a href="http://starttags.com" rel="nofollow">starttags.com</a> and I'm not sure if they're poison for the page rank that I've been working so hard to cultivate.
